National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights

The preparation and evolving of the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights should not sidestep the voices at the margins. The programme aims at creating spaces for the participation of everyone in the negotiations around action plans on human rights and business.

Core themes

Responsible Supply Chain, Responsible Procurement, Child rights and business, Affirmative Action and Consumer education on human rights and business.

Partners in Change is anchoring the programme and are looking forward to recruit two Fellows and 5 interns for a period of 5 months between November and March.

Desired skills and remuneration

Fellows are required to have 5 years of relevant experience on working on human rights issues. As a lot of work will be desk-based, the candidate should have a good writing and data mining skills. Fresh graduates with social media skills and passion for writing and basic data mining experience may apply for internship. Legal training and basic knowledge of statistics will be welcome.

Belonging to a marginalised identity is an important attribute for the programme. Fellows and Interns will get a fixed honorarium of Rs 40,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.
