Human Rights and Business: A Primer for Business in India

The Primer is an introductory document for managers and leaders to get familiar with the issue and basics of the Business and Human Rights Agenda. It aims to help individuals and companies to get familiar with the issue at hand and to help them to have a greater understanding of roles and responsibilities they have.

The Primer responds to the request from business as well as development practitioners and designed for any business and / or industry at any stage in its business cycle, operating anywhere in the world. The primary audience is business from and operating in India – both state owned as well as private.
