After completing school education from a remote village in costal Orissa, achieved first class honors degree in commerce with distinction from Utkal University. With a Cost Accounting qualification, started carrier in Orissa Oilseeds Project under the ‘Operation Golden Flow’ of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and privileged to study Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (specialization in Finance and HR) from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), and exposed to international training and workshop, on financial management in World Bank project-conduced by World Bank(WB), on procurement of health sector goods-conducted jointly by WHO, WB and DFID, and on portfolio review -conducted by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in China.

As a trained finance, HR and procurement professional, of total experience around 26 years, more than 10 years in leadership positions in financial management, procurement and HR, in multi-sector development organizations of national and international repute. The leadership position includes more than 2 years in NDDB’s oilseeds projects, 5 years in IFAD’s livelihood project in north east India and 4 years in World Bank assisted food & drugs capacity building project in ministry of health and family welfare, GOI, and served one month as international procurement specialist with IFAD, to support government of Nepal. Served also as visiting faculty for one core module, finance management for Rural Management Program in Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar.

With a multi disciplinary qualification and experience (both in finance and program) in multi-sector development projects, joined Partners in Change since April 2009 in the position, Head (Finance & Administration) playing a lead role in finance and HR functions of the organization, and looking forward to establishing an efficient and transparent finance, HR, legal compliance, contract management system to ensuring good governance practices, in reaching organization mission.
