Mr. Bhuwan K Chaturvedi

Bhuwan Chaturvedi has rich top management corporate experience, in the automobile, auto components, engineering, real estate development and management consulting.

He began his career with Tata Motors (1971-78) & went on to occupy apex level positions such as Managing Director, Eicher Ltd., President & Executive Director, Hindustan Motors Ltd and CEO of Central Park. He was a key member of the Eicher team (1978-2000) which transformed Eicher from a small tractor company to a major pan India player in automobile industry with product range of tractors, commercial vehicles & two wheelers. Bhuwan gave a new direction to Hindustan Motors business strategy (2000-04) & led HM to pursue contract manufacturing as a new line of business. It resulted in HM taking up engine & transmission manufacturing for Ford Motors & General Motors in India.

In both Eicher & C.K.Birla group, Bhuwan was member of Group Management Boards responsible for providing strategic direction to various other group companies. In Eicher, it included businesses like commercial vehicles, motor cycles, auto components and management consultancy. In C.K.Birla Group, the companies covered businesses like cement, paper, building materials, fans, bearings and earth moving equipment.

Bhuwan has an outstanding academic background. He did B.E. (Mech) from I.I.T. Roorkee (1969) & M.B.A. from IIM, Ahmedabad (1971). He has been to Harvard Business School to attend Executive Development Programme. Bhuwan was a regular participant of CEO
