Mr. Shambhu V. Sista

Mr S V Sista, Chairman, Sista’s Private Limited, known to his friends as ‘Bobby’ is an Advertising practitioner reputed for his professional integrity. Having served in various capacities on the Governing Bodies of all the major Professional Bodies such as Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), he has guided Indian Advertising to consistently higher standards and always advocated ethical business practices.

Mr Sista was associated with Action Aid (U.K. based Charity and parent organization of Partners in Change) for more than 15 years before Partners in Change (PiC) was formed. He is one of the Founder Trustees of PiC and its President for the last 3 years. He is one of the early advocates of what has come to be known as “CSR” (Corporate Social Responsibility).

He was awarded the ABBY Distinctive Recognition Award for his contribution to the Advertising Industry by the Ad Club, Mumbai, on 16th March, 2003.

Mr. Sista is a Member of the Governing Body of Population Services International (PSI), New Delhi, since September 2005.

Mr. Sista is the Founder Chairman of I-Congo, New Delhi, since 2004.

He is the Executive Trustee of Population First – a communications initiative for a balanced, planned and stable population in India Population First is a registered Trust which works to build tri-sector partnerships between Corporates and NGOs to strengthen the hands of the Government to achieve the National Population Policy 2000 goal of population stabilization by year 2045 within the framework of gender equity and social development. He is mobilizing Media to help in this endeavour. As the Executive Trustee of Population First he is spearheading a communications campaign to create awareness about health & population issues in the country.
