Delivering Value: An Exploration of Community Development Vehicles Adopted by Corporates in India
Corporate Responsibility, today, has become a high-paced activity in the context of economic globalization and the attendant global and national changes necessitated by it. This study was intended to explore the current scenario and the relationship between a company’s stakeholder engagement process in respect of the community and the delivery structures best-suited to meet the company’s stated objectives.
The ultimate purpose was to see how effective is the dedicated vehicle approach in achieving sustainable development of communities, while serving business needs effectively in order to make the decision-making processes of companies more strategic and sustainable. PiC joined hands with Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium (APPC) and Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy to conduct this study. The study was financially aided by APPC.
